Smith & Nephew plc, also known as Smith+Nephew, is a British multinational medical equipment manufacturing company headquartered in Watford, England. It is an international producer of advanced wound management products, arthroscopy products, trauma and clinical therapy products, and orthopaedic reconstruction products. Its products are sold in over 120 countries.

An employee shared his experience, "The Higher Ups At Smith & Nephew are the worts. Their bathroom and lockers are in the same environment and all of that is across from the breakroom, where employees consume food and beverages. They give speeches for hours without any resolutions EVER! They should be ashamed but I know they are not...Not one bit. They change employees like underwear."

"I have been working at Smith & Nephew Cons: This has been the absolute worst hiring process I have ever been through. I interviewed with two separate divisions of this company (sports medicine and wound care). Both divisions were fighting back and forth over who started the process first and neither one of them ended up offering me the job after dragging me along for two months. One division leader lied to the other and asked them to stop they’re hiring process with me, and the other division (after two interviews and a ride along decided to tell me I didn’t have the qualifications for the job. Note: the first division of the same corporation said I didn’t need a Bachelors Degree. The first division also never called to tell me that they hired someone else, after I tried getting in contact with them for almost a week. This has not only wasted two months of my time between interviews but also my time at my current job and away from my family by continuing with an interview process that should have never began if I didn’t have the qualifications."
